We are building the world's first continuous lactate tracker, think CGM, but for lactate, and we are looking for a Chief Lactate Officer to own the science behind it.

This is not just a research position. It is a hands-on, high-impact role at the center of everything we do: designing and running athlete testing sessions, working directly with elite sports partners, and being the person who makes sure every decision we make is grounded in real physiology. You will be the leading lactate expert at NDURE, internally and externally.

We are not necessarily looking for the finished expert. We are looking for someone with a genuine obsession with lactate and human performance, a strong foundation in sports science, and the drive to go deep. This is a role where curiosity and hunger matter more than years on a CV. You will learn fast, and you will have real support from the team around you.

The role:

• Design and run structured exercise protocols for internal sensor testing on athletes, including our in-house NDURE Lab sessions.

• Lead external testing with our commercial partners across elite sport with national federations, professional teams, and sports brands.

• Build and maintain NDURE's lactate knowledge base, the internal reference point for how we interpret, present, and communicate lactate data.

• Coach the executive team and broader organization on exercise physiology - making sure lactate science is embedded in our product, marketing, and commercial conversations.

• Work closely with our CTO on sensor validation: designing protocols that generate clean, comparable data across subjects and conditions.

• Represent NDURE to athletes, coaches, and sports science professionals as our credible face in the performance world.

  
  

You might be a great fit if you:

• Hold or are completing an MSc in sports science, exercise physiology, or a closely related field.

• Are genuinely fascinated by lactate - you have read beyond the textbook, and you have opinions about it.

• Have some hands-on experience with lactate testing, but more importantly, you are eager to develop that experience further.

• Are comfortable working with athletes under exercise load and understand how to design reproducible testing conditions.

• Can translate complex physiology into language that athletes, coaches, and non-scientists understand.

• You want ownership, not just a task list.

• You like to be in front of a camera.
